Charity Champions event
Thursday 8 November
The Grosvenor, Chester

A unique event bringing inspiring speakers, knowledgeable third-sector professionals and not-for-profit leaders together to answer some of the burning questions that currently challenge your organisation.

We know it can be lonely at the top and this is your opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and to pick the brains of other senior leaders, Chair of Trustees and Chief Executives over a cup of tea or glass of champagne. And all at no cost to yourself thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Grosvenor Hotel and Champions Accountants (specialists in third sector accounting)

Rachel Clacher is our key note speaker at this inaugural event. Having identified a need, Rachel developed the WeMindTheGap charity to work with disadvantaged young women who were lacking in aspiration and life opportunities. At a time when local authority funding is being cut, WeMindTheGap continues to access support from local authorities. Rachel will tell us how this happened and the challenges she faced along the way.

Charity Champions is a group of expert not-for-profit professionals who have gained hands on experience of the sector over many years. This exceptional team has experience of business, fundraising and communication strategy, hands on fundraising, governance and leadership. They have come together to give a one-stop shop for leaders in the third sector, where you can ask questions, and access one off or long-term support and advice.
